Because trees are often planted on property lines, fencing companies need to have stumps removed before installing a fence. 

Grinding stumps is a simple process that can be completed in just a few hours. Our state-of-the-art stump grinder creates minimal impact to your landscape.

After the stumps are ground, the mulch left behind is environmentally friendly and great
for landscaping. Stump grinding prices do not include removal of the mulch.

Hi .. I’m Adam Duim.. 

I grew up on a farm in central Washington and have always enjoyed operating and repairing farm equipment. A few years ago, I was introduced to stump grinding and loved it. 

I specialize in stump grinding and work with arborists and fence builders. 

Due to the fact that I own my equipment and do most of my service and repair,  I am able to offer competitive pricing and scheduling. 

As an owner/operator I have a flexible schedule which means that I am often able to accommodate emergency situations. 

I currently live in Monroe, WA and enjoy servicing customers within a wide radius. Ferryboat  rides are always welcome. 

I enjoy meeting customers and am always able to assess a situation and offer a free estimate on the first visit.

Stumps along driveways can be a hazard to vehicles that are coming and going. Because the stumps are low to ground they are not often seen by guests or delivery people. We heard numerous stories about people accidentally damaging their vehicles.

Stumps are a breeding ground for all kinds of pests…including snakes, rats, termites, bugs, and other critters. Stumps might attract termites to your home.  And remember that kids can’t resist bugs. 

How to Get Started 

Schedule an appointment for an estimate (call, text, or email) 

Please feel free to call or text me directly.  If I don’t answer the phone immediately, it is probably because I am grinding stumps.  I will usually get back to you within a few hours to schedule an appointment. 

I will meet you in person and take a look at your stump(s). 

Once we have agreed on a time to meet, I ask that you share your address with me. Then I will plan to meet you in person to see and evaluate the stumps. There are many variables that I consider including stump size, wood hardness, root systems, terrain and access to the area. These factors can affect the amount of work involved and price. 

Some clients have multiple stumps to be ground and I take that into consideration as well.

I prepare and estimate to grind the stumps.

Once I have had a chance to see and evaluate the work required,  I can always give you an estimate on the spot. 

When we come to agreement on the price, we schedule a time and date for the work.

Most projects will be scheduled within two weeks of estimate and require just a couple hours of grinding time.
